Trisha Wilson and Shaun Robinson show off The Wilson Foundation's new "Hope Bracelet"

The Wilson Foundation is thrilled to launch our new Hope Bracelet, with 14mm onyx beads and a brilliant pave-set WF ‘hand’ logo.

We introduced them today at our fundraising lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel and then presented them to our friend Shaun Robinson this afternoon. She loved them and has uploaded her photos to her Facebook page. Check them out: http://www.facebook.com/shaunrobinson. Thanks, Shaun- you’re the best!

We just received these photos from the Waterberg Welfare Society’s youth center, Timothy House.  They had a party celebrating the opening of the World Cup and all the kids dressed up and painted their faces.  See the murals the kids painted in honor of The Wilson Foundation and the South African Lacrosse Project.  They are all eagerly awaiting the arrival of the U.S. volunteers who will be coming for the Lacrosse Camp in July.  At last count, there are over 150 kids signed up for the camp.  That’s more than twice the number who participated last year.  We’re going to be busy!!

On June 23, Wilson Associates will host its annual Point of Excellence Awards luncheon benefiting The Wilson Foundation.  The event, to be held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, features the presentation of the annual Point of Excellence Awards for excellence in service to the design industry.  All proceeds will benefit the South Africa-based programs and projects of The Wilson Foundation.  We are so excited to have as our special guest speakers Mary Stephenson of the Waterberg Welfare Society (WWS) in Vaalwater, South Africa and Dr. Lana Lee, the UT Southwestern Medical Center fellow who recently returned to the U.S. after working in the WWS clinic for the past 18 months.

We hope to see all our vendors and friends in the design industry at this year’s event.

Thanks in advance for your support, and for helping us change lives, one child at a time.
